A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Jeff Scott has been the dedicated and creative head chef at the West Mountain for over 7 years. His passion for local, fresh, organic ingredients has him seeking out only the finest local food producers Vermont has to offer. On any given week you might find him picking out heirloom fingerling potatoes from Heleba Potato Farm in Rutland,fresh creamy goat cheeses from Consider Bardwell Farm in Pawlet or seasonal organic produce from Anjali Farm in South Londonderry. If he’s not in the kitchen you might find him somewhere on a mountaintop pursuing his other obsession - downhill skiing.
